H170 Hydrostatic Head tester
This H170 Tester is one of the lightest machines of its kind on the market. It is used to provide a quick and accurate test result of determining resistance of coated, laminated materials under pressure while the material is firmly clamped in the test rig. The specimen is secured by means of a hand operated clamp. The predetermined amount can be set and once the process is engaged the pressure is automatically controlled in a slow and even motion to avoid extreme exertion on the material. The H170 is designed to eliminate air bubbles as the test pot automatically removes any trapped air. The gauge can be read in either pounds or Bar/Kilo pascal.
The test specimen is visually observed for any evidence of water penetration.
Portable:
The machine is designed to be fully portable with optional power supply making it easy to switch from mains supply to battery operated.
